Drawing Instrument: Apparatus
A machine for producing transitional moments.
I draw a gesture. The system transforms it. Something happens between the action and the image. Sometimes the translation fits. Sometimes it doesn't.
It is an experimental device. The instrument redirects attention from the image to the transformation that produced it.
The passage between action and representation is the experience.
I use it to study slips.
