I become curious precisely when scientists' readings and mine don't fit. What are the effects of that difference?
I make artworks that stage bodies slipping through computation: drawing, painting, animation, writing, web-based media, 3D, AI, performance. Computation, here, is not only machines. It happens wherever a body is translated into signs a system can read: perception, institutions, technology alike. A slip is an embodied experience of recognition that does not fit. A structural anomaly. It happens in bureaucracy, technology, medicine, language, visual abstraction, wherever lived experience passes through a system based on a model that organizes reality. I don't treat slips as errors to correct. I investigate them.

In French, un slip is a pair of briefs. The word stays close to the body, which is where I notice slips first. My artworks are both the subject and the method of this research. Trans experience is not context here but method. I work by moving between artistic practice, collaborative projects, first-person logs, conversations with scientists and analysis of human–machine interaction.
Current research questions:
A body passes through a system (surgery, law, grammar, a model) that knows only its own procedure. What does the body know, from inside, that the system can't? And how can art make it available to others? What is lost when that body is irreversibly reduced, what is invented, what relation holds between the fragments?
